Joe Benning is a trial attorney, having practiced law in Vermont for 29 years. He is also immediate past Chair of Vermont's Human Rights Commission.
At a time when the state is facing a fiscal crisis and high unemployment, Joe would make fiscal responsibility and job creation top priorities in Montpelier. He believes state government needs to return its focus to those core functions that have historically identified Vermont as a community: education, public safety and infrastructure.
